Contemporary interior design for a new build in North Balgowlah, thoughtfully crafted for a busy young family. This bright, layered and textured home balances refined materials with practical living, creating a timeless and enduring environment that feels both elevated and effortlessly liveable.

At the heart of the project is a strong architectural foundation, where the home was carefully conceived by the Architect with a focus on clarity of form, natural light and a highly functional plan tailored to family life. The interior design elements were intrinsically woven into this framework, enhancing spatial flow, reinforcing key moments of volume and grounding the architecture through a considered material palette. Subtle shifts in texture, tone and joinery articulation work in tandem with the built form to create a cohesive and calm living environment.

Delivered in close collaboration with the owner-builder, the project benefited from an engaged and detail-driven construction process. This collaborative approach allowed for ongoing refinement on site, ensuring that both architectural intent and interior resolution were carried through with precision. The result is a home where architecture and interiors are seamlessly aligned, crafted to support the rhythms of a busy household while maintaining a sense of quiet, enduring sophistication.
